In a perfect world there is no advertising except in places you expect to find it when you are seeking it & everybody behaves responsably respecting everyone elses privacy & right to exist in a similar fashion to others.

The internet does not live in a perfvect world so it is my aim to construct a network within the greater internet whereby people are not given the choice to act responsible but instead any traffic flowing through the bofhgn is governed by rules we bofh's set for the greater good rather then any one individuals desire to waste resources either knowingly or out of ignorance.

Whilst the BOFHGN only spans the Perth metro area utilising bits of choked unmanaged bits of WAFreenet, I am hoping to remove reliance on this having nothing to do with commercial organisations like Telstra & eventually extend it to at least the Northern parts of Western Australia & bits of the Northern Territory where I spend the majority of my time.

I hope to do this utilising a variety of technologies creating many redundant paths relying explicitely on none allowing any/all to utilise the network in a vastly confined way in order to limit abuse via a number of gateways built into the network they can communicate with using open source software on their own routers minimising the leakage of garbage onto the network from poorly configured commercial software.
