Food for Thought

I'm constantly told to make allowances for people not understanding my disabilities whilst they show no interest in wanting to understand the discrimination I am inflicted with by their unthoughtfulness or unkind words, actions and general conduct.

Similarly I'm told to ask for help if I need it and when I'm spotted struggling with something on my own they ask, Why didn't you ask sumone for help.

These are the same people who often ignore my request for help because they have tuned out, are too busy or my communications difficulties have simply been disregarded out of hand as me just mumbling to myself.

Politicians, police & beaurocrats please start thinking about how you can best help people in my situation rather then staying focused on your own self serving agendas which see people like me taken advantage of, intimidated & harrassed by those like yourselves or worse others using you to oppress us.

Step 1. Give yourselves a pay cut to the basic wage & use the excess money to help others become self sufficient of a society that is constantly on the take.

Step 2. Stop wasting money on moronic advertising directed solely at those who are already struggling because of the imbalance of money, power & justice.

Step 3. Start leading by example, that is live according to the same rules you inflict on the rest of us & likewise accept the same level of punishment when you do wrong being completely open & accountable.

Then & only then will you engender the respect of those who have enough problems dealing with disabilities let alone the crap you dish out too us on a daily basis.

If we live in a democratic society then any homeless person should be allowed too get a job as a politician with the full privledges that brings, but how come the only people we see in office are the small group who have money/influence?
