Competent computer users never get virus's because they simply do not download unchecked binaries to their computer & run them

By Checked I mean examined and compiled yourself or compiled by similarly trusted people.

I do not mean scanned by some company out to make a quick buck by convincing you the need of their product to protect you from yourself not using common sense
