After many years of abuse at the hands of others, both well meaning & otherwise, I've whitled down my contactability back to irc whereby you may receive further instructions for one to one contact by various means.
Do not try to /msg me in irc, I dislike this & usually have my client set to ignore all messages, although I am looking at a way of logging these /msgs after one day observing a heap of abuse simply because I'd not responded to a persons unsolicited message weeks before.
Be certain not to utilise a client that is exploitable or the server will bar your connection or worse you will get exploited and used for relaying spam, crashing networks, etc
One of the servers is irc.freenode.net and I am found on channel #perth for a fairly private chat.
log onto irc via this cgi
I have placed a config here for use with irssi which will automagically connect you to the correct server & channel #perth in order to talk with me.
This is designed to launch irssi with the above config file if they reside in the same directory/folder
You will need to install irssi first before backing up & overwriting the config with the one above
Please be aware I do not use microsoft & have only tested the config under linux. Microsoft may rename the file to something other then config or expect the file to be in a place I'm unfamiliar with.
I recently created #campfire on freenode to replace the channel on undernet due to uncontrolled abuse on that server as well.
You may try to send me a memo via the memoserv but there is no guarrentee I will read it if my idle time is sufficiently large as discovered by looking at /wii gb
I do have email contact but due to spam & other problems encountered, i'm not always able to reply to an email I receive, let alone reply to same.
For those lucky enough to have my address please make certain to read Common Sense email
I use festival on occassions to assist me reading my emails which does so by converting the text into audio.
If they are short enough & devoid of non alphanumeric characters you will tend to get a more friendly & sane response
